DC Physiotherapy · 6 to 12 months inThe same 8 a week, now with real data

Daniel thought Google Ads was going well. An agency looked after it at $4,000 plus GST a month, organic social included, and it was still the clinic's largest referral source. Then Peter completed his analysis and discovered quite a few flaws, including clearly showing the account was managed offshore, not by who Daniel was paying. We mapped the key campaigns, discussed goals, expected leads return and budget, then added the new remedial massage service. Enquiries held at 8 a week through the switch, Daniel's count, on $1,000 to $2,500 a month in ad spend. What changed is what sits behind that number: conversions tracked properly, real data every month, and less time spent worrying about it.

Both counts are Daniel's own, from the story brief. This page does not smooth a flat number into a curve: the change he values is the data behind the enquiries, not the tally.

The starting position

Where the clinic was when we started.

Marketing at DC Physiotherapy was a little bit of everything, in Daniel's words. Mostly Google, with some dabbling into Meta ads. A marketing agency looked after the Google Ads, and he thought it was going well. It was still the clinic's largest referral source.

That arrangement cost $4,000 plus GST a month, with organic social media posting and management included, plus the ad spend on top. Then Peter completed his analysis and discovered quite a few flaws. The clearest one, in Daniel's account: the ads were being managed offshore, and not by who he was paying.

What he wanted next was simple to say. Real results, from a reputable source who knew what they were doing, and ideally who knew allied health. Two things nearly stopped him: it felt like he had to start again, and the cost, be it less than the previous agency fees. His words on both.

What we did

The work, in the order we did it.

Ran the analysis that showed who was really running the ads.

Daniel was paying $4,000 plus GST a month and thought the ads were going well. The analysis discovered quite a few flaws, and the biggest was not a setting. It clearly showed the account was being managed offshore, not by who he was paying. That is Daniel's own account of what it found.

Mapped the key campaigns before launching anything.

The way of working Daniel calls out started with a map: the key campaigns to complete and launch. Key goals, the expected leads return and the budget were all discussed before anything went live. Starting again was the thing that nearly stopped him, so the start came with a plan he could read.

Added the new remedial massage service to the plan.

DC Physiotherapy is physiotherapy and remedial massage, and the massage service was the new addition. It went into the campaign plan once the key campaigns were set. His sequencing: goals, leads return, budget, then the new service.

Tracked conversions properly, so each month brings real data.

This is the change Daniel names himself: at least now we're able to track conversions better. Each month there is real data on the table, and the discussion is about what needs to be changed or added. He reviews the reports, and the ads stopped being something to worry about.

What the fee was buying

The analysis found who was really running the ads. Then the rebuild ran in order.

Discuss goals, expected leads return, budget

The numbers agreed before anything went live.

Add the new remedial massage service

The newest part of the clinic, added once the base was set.

The $4,000 plus GST figure and the offshore finding are Daniel's own account from the story brief. The four steps are his answer to what stood out about the way we worked, in his order.

The numbers

Before and after, line by line.

Every figure in this table is Daniel's own count and his own words, not our ad account reporting. The honest row comes first: a typical week brought 8 new patient enquiries before we started, and it brings 8 now. What changed is everything around that number. The old agency fee was $4,000 plus GST a month with organic social included and ad spend on top. The ad spend now sits at $1,000 to $2,500 a month, the conversions are tracked properly, and the books are growing.

What a month looks like now

Review the report, discuss the changes, get back to the clinic.

Step 1: The report lands

Real data on the month, so the numbers are worth reading.

What it replaced

Taking an agency's word that it was going well.

Step 2: Daniel reviews it

He reads the results each month. That is the whole job.

What it replaced

Paying $4,000 plus GST a month and not knowing who was managing the ads.

Step 3: They discuss the changes

What needs to be changed or added, decided on the data.

What it replaced

Time spent worrying about it.

Every phrase here is Daniel's own account from the story brief, lightly trimmed. What it meant for him personally, in his words: less time spent worrying about it.

it's a massive support to have someone else do it who knows what they are doing and who genuinely have your best interest at heart leading the way.

What's next

Where the work goes from here.

The rhythm is the plan now. Each month the report lands with real data, Daniel reviews it, and the conversation is about what needs to be changed or added, his own description of how it works. The remedial massage service is in the mix and the books are growing. The spend stays inside his $1,000 to $2,500 range, and the enquiries stay a number he can check, not a claim he has to take on faith.

Yeah, look, I've really enjoyed working with Peter. He's a good operator. He understands the industry and understands the market. You know, he changed my AdWords campaign, made it more beneficial. So overall, I was very happy with his interjection into what we were doing. And yes, I'd highly recommend him.

He's increased our referrals from Google by a good 25% and it's still going up, since coming across to Pete from our previous agency, and he's been more cost effective than the last agency. So I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Pete. He's an absolute weapon in this space of Google Ads.
