Completely Aligned · More than 2 years in4 to 5 Google enquiries a week, from zero

Before we met, Completely Aligned had no real system for new patients from ads. Reena had already paid an osteo led Google Ads agency and got a poor return, ads that didn't sound like her, and a tracking system that ate her time. Her team was growing, the new clinicians needed patients who weren't specifically after her, and she was buried doing everything else. So Pete built the Google Ads, the landing pages and the conversion tracking, and has run them for more than 2 years. By Reena's count, new patient enquiries from Google went from 0 a week to 4 to 5, on under $1,000 a month. When she stepped away from the business for 6 months, the ads kept running like they were his own.

The week, in Reena's count

A week that held nothing from Google now holds 4 to 5 new patient enquiries.

Before, a typical week

0from Google

An agency had been paid to run the account. What came through were discovery calls with leads that weren't even good quality, in her words. Just hoping something would land.

Now, a typical week

4 to 5from Google

New patient enquiries that are not reliant on luck or word of mouth, and not all of them for Reena. That was the point: the newer clinicians needed patients who weren't specifically after her.

Reena's own count of new patient enquiries from Google in a typical week, before we started and now. Not a tracked conversion figure, and the range is hers, unrounded.

The starting position

Where the clinic was when we started.

There was no real system for new patients from ads at Completely Aligned. Just hoping something would land, in Reena's words. She had tried an osteo led Google Ads agency before Pete, and it wasn't the right fit. The return was poor, and the ads didn't sound like her or resonate with her patients.

It cost her money, time and sleep, all three. Setting up and running the tracking system the agency required was way more consuming than it should have been. Then there was the clinicians' time, spent on discovery calls with leads that weren't even good quality. Burning time and money, and still not solving the actual problem: a reliable source of new patients.

Running it herself was never the answer. Too hard, that's a whole skill set on its own, as she puts it. What made her move was the team. New clinicians had come on, and they needed patients who weren't specifically after Reena.

She was buried doing everything else in the business, and Google Ads wasn't something she could master on top of that. It wasn't optional anymore. Cost nearly stopped her, and so did the unknown: was this just going to be more money down the drain? The bad experience with the prior agency had made her gun shy.

What we did

The work, in the order we did it.

Built the Google Ads into a behind the scenes source of new patients.

Reena's description of the work, not ours: Pete single handedly built her Google Ads into a solid, behind the scenes source of new patient enquiries. The campaigns were built and run for her from the start, so the whole skill set she had no room to learn never landed on her plate.

Put the landing pages and conversion tracking on our side of the fence.

Landing pages and conversion tracking were part of the work from the start. The last time round, the tracking system was hers to set up and run, and it swallowed her time. This time it is all done for her, in her words, and she doesn't have to worry about it.

Adapted constantly, through algorithm changes and a business pivot.

There have been ups and downs along the way, and Reena says so herself. Algorithm changes on Google's side, and her own business pivoting. Not every month has been amazing. But the two of them have adapted constantly, and Pete has kept improving the back end.

Kept the ads running for 6 months while Reena was away.

The real standout, by her account. She had to step away from the business for 6 months, and Pete kept the ads running like they were his own. He made the calls for her the way he'd make them for himself, and in her words, they were great. Now it runs seamlessly with barely any input from her.

The span and the 6 months are Reena's own answers from the story brief. The track is drawn at 2 years and she says it has been more than that. Where the 6 months sit inside it is a drawing choice, not a date she gave.

The numbers

Before and after, line by line.

Every figure in this table is Reena's own count and her own words, not our ad account reporting. A typical week used to bring 0 new patient enquiries from Google. It now brings 4 to 5, on under $1,000 a month in ad spend. The row she calls huge is the one about her own time: 6 months away from the business, and the enquiries kept coming.

Her advice

Take this off your plate. Just do it. You'll get a return on your investment, less stress, and more time to focus on the thousand other things you need to do as a small business owner.

Every line here is Reena's own answer from the story brief. The spend is her figure, not our ad account reporting, and the expansions are listed as she named them, without counts she did not give.

Pete's single-handedly built my Google Ads into a reliable, consistent source of new patients, without me having to think about it. When I had to step away from the business for 6 months, he kept the Ads running like it was his own. It's let me expand with confidence, both in staff, locations and going multidisciplinary. If you're a clinic owner on the fence, just do it. Less stress, more time back, and Pete's great!

What's next

Where the work goes from here.

Reena describes the ads now as a lever she can pull when she needs more patients coming through the door, with barely any input from her the rest of the time. The clinic has expanded in staff, in locations and into a multidisciplinary model, so the ads keep feeding the newer clinicians as well as her own books. From here the work is the same as it has been: keep improving the back end as Google changes and the business does, and keep the flow steady.

Pete has been fantastic to work with. I didn't have the time or expertise to manage Google Ads myself, so having Pete manage our campaigns has made the whole process easy and stress free. He's always available to answer questions, provides clear reporting, and continually optimises the campaigns based on the data. Most importantly, the ads have delivered great results for our business and allowed me to focus on other aspects of running the clinic. I'd highly recommend Pete to anyone considering Google Ads.

Having Pete work on our GA campaign has been one of the easier business decisions to make. Not only does he have a personal experience and understanding of the Allied Health sector, but he has a passion to see you succeed as if he were trying to grow his own clinic. Cant speak highly enough nor recommend his services more highly.

Clinic Mastery are really the most legit marketing company I've come across when it comes to working with clinics. They're very professional, they respond really quickly, they're very clear on what they wanna do, what you need to do. They don't oversell you the dream, but they show you the potential, which is really cool. But they also show you how to get there and how you can do it yourself with the right guidance. And yeah, Pina's been awesome to work with as I opened my eyes to a lot of things as well with the clinical world when it comes to marketing.
