Equilibrium Sports and Spinal · 6 to 12 months inGoogle Ads is no longer a stress

Gary is upfront that Google Ads is not his strong point, so Equilibrium Sports and Spinal always had someone looking after it. The last company felt like it was going through the motions, and the monthly report kept describing a clinic he could not see in the diary. After years inside the Clinic Mastery community, he moved the ads to Pete. We took over the Google Ads and built landing pages for the campaigns to land on. The gap between the diary and the report is smaller now, still not perfect, in his words, and the numbers mean more. The books are growing on under $1,000 a month in ad spend, and Google Ads is no longer a stress.

The report versus the diary

The result Gary wanted most was a report the diary agrees with.

Before, the old company

What the report said

A great month, high conversion rate

What the diary showed

Not what the clinic was seeing

The gap: Wide, and nobody could explain it

Now, 6 to 12 months in

What the report says

Numbers that mean more

What the diary shows

A growing clinic he can recognise

The gap: Smaller, still not perfect, his words

Drawn from Gary's own description, as a shape, not a scale. He gave no counts for either era, and the honest part is his: the gap is smaller, not gone. Not our ad account reporting.

The starting position

Where the clinic was when we started.

Google Ads has never been Gary's strong point, and he says so himself. Equilibrium Sports and Spinal always had someone looking after that part of the business, and the last company felt like it was going through the motions. He was not really aware of what was being done in the back end.

The monthly report was the only window in, and the numbers did not match what the clinic was seeing. Some months the old company called it a great month on the strength of a high conversion rate, and the diary disagreed. To Gary it felt like there was no direction, generic and recipe like, never specific to his clinic or his brand.

The fees ran between $500 and $1,000 a month, and the money was not the worst of it. The frustration was. He wanted more clicks, greater exposure and better conversions, and what he got each month was we are working on it, it takes time.

Running it himself was never on the table, because he had heard too many horror stories of clinics burning through thousands of dollars on wasted ads. What nearly stopped him moving was cost, another setup fee, another company promising better results. Years inside Clinic Mastery settled it. He had watched their genuine desire to see everyone maximise their potential, and that made the move easy.

What we did

The work, in the order we did it.

Took the Google Ads over from the old company.

What Gary had before was, in his words, generic and recipe like, never specific to his clinic or his brand. The work since runs the other way: campaigns for one osteopathy clinic in Glen Iris, its brand, and the patients it actually wants to see. That specificity was the whole complaint, so it became the whole brief.

Built landing pages for the campaigns to land on.

Paid traffic needs somewhere purposeful to land, not a homepage and hope. The campaigns got landing pages matched to what the person searching actually wants, so a click has a clear next step.

Aimed the numbers at the diary.

The old reports described a clinic Gary could not see in the room. The measure of this work is different: the gap between what the report says and what the diary shows. By his account that gap is smaller now, still not perfect, and it means the numbers mean more.

Ran it like a business partner, not a supplier.

The standout for Gary is the thought process, what would I do if this was my clinic. Pete has worked in and owned a clinic, and Gary calls that insight invaluable. It feels, in his words, like a business partner wanting to grow the business just as intently as he does, and he has not had that from any other Google Ads company.

The filter every call runs through

One question separates a recipe from a partner.

What the old way handed him

  • A recipe that could have been any clinic's
  • We are working on it, it takes time
  • A report the diary did not recognise

The question, Gary's words

What would I do if this was my clinic?

What comes out the other side

  • Campaigns specific to his clinic and his brand
  • Insight from someone who has owned a clinic
  • A business partner growing it as intently as he is

Every line here is Gary's own description of the difference, from his story. He has yet to get this sense from any other Google Ads company he has worked with, his words.

The numbers

Before and after, line by line.

There are fewer counted figures in this table than in most of our case studies, because Gary's story is about whether the numbers can be believed at all. Every row is his own words, not our ad account reporting. The spend sits under $1,000 a month, his figure. The gap between the report and the diary is smaller and still not perfect, and he would rather have that honest number than a great month on paper.

What holds steady underneath

The ad spendStays under $1,000 a month, his figure
The campaignIn good hands, his words, so he rests comfortably
The stressNo longer part of running the clinic

Every figure and every claim here is Gary's own account: the spend under $1,000 a month, the varying weeks, and the part of the business that no longer costs him sleep. Not our ad account reporting, and never a promise about future weeks.

Having Pete work on our GA campaign has been one of the easier business decisions to make. Not only does he have a personal experience and understanding of the Allied Health sector, but he has a passion to see you succeed as if he were trying to grow his own clinic. Cant speak highly enough nor recommend his services more highly.

What's next

Where the work goes from here.

The books are growing and the weeks still vary, some great for new patients, some not so great, and Gary says both parts out loud. As much as he would love a guaranteed 10 new patients a week, nobody honest can sell him one. What he has instead is a campaign he calls in good hands, a better chance, by his read, that the people clicking through actually convert, and a spend that stays under $1,000 a month until the books ask for more. The next job does not change: keep the gap between the report and the diary closing, and keep the numbers meaning something.
