MDMH Clinic · 6 to 12 months inSave time, reduce stress and save money

Before Clinic Mastery, marketing at MDMH Clinic ran through an overseas company at about $800 a month, plus the cost of the ads themselves, and Tinashe couldn't say what any of it was actually producing. The clinic had tried doing it themselves, tried the overseas company, and tried doing nothing. We rebuilt Google Ads for an Australian psychology clinic and wired in conversion tracking. The wording in the ads is more polished and targeted now, and how potential clients find the clinic seems clearer, Tinashe's words. The books sit at early days, on under $1,000 a month in ad spend. And the part that matters most personally: Tinashe doesn't have to do it.

Every way a clinic can run its marketing

Three approaches were tried before this one. This is the one that stuck.

Doing it themselves

Tried

Missed the mark on most occasions, in Tinashe's words.

An overseas company

Tried

SEO and ads for about $800 a month, plus the cost of the ads. The company never fully understood the business, and meaningful outcomes were hard to see.

Doing nothing

Tried

The clinic tried that too. The books had to grow without help.

Handed to people who already know health businesses

Now

Google Ads rebuilt and conversion tracking wired in, with the ads in alignment with the profession and the goals of the business. Tinashe's words on why this one made perfect sense.

Every description above is Tinashe's own account from the story brief, including the $800 a month. Nothing here is our measurement.

The starting position

Where the clinic was when we started.

The marketing before ran through an overseas company, doing SEO and ads for about $800 a month, plus the cost of the ads on top. In Tinashe's words, the company never fully understood what the business was about or how it needed to do things. Whether any meaningful outcomes were coming back, nobody could say. Even understanding what was really happening was a challenge.

MDMH Clinic had tried the other routes too. Doing it themselves, which missed the mark on most occasions. And doing nothing at all. Every version cost the same three things: money, time in the back and forth, and sleep, the peace of mind of knowing whether it was being taken care of or not.

What moved Tinashe was that Clinic Mastery already knows health based businesses. Being a CM member meant close access to updates and information, and ads in alignment with the profession and the goals of the business. One worry nearly stopped the decision: that it would be all the same thing as before, with no real meaningful outcomes for where the money was going or how it was actually translating into claims.

What we did

The work, in the order we did it.

Rebuilt Google Ads for an Australian psychology clinic.

The old campaigns came from a company that never fully understood the business. The rebuild started by naming what wasn't working previously and what needed to change, and the adjustment was made in alignment with what works in Australia for the type of business Tinashe runs. Those are the parts of the process Tinashe calls out.

Wired in conversion tracking.

The old worry was where the money was going and how it was actually translating into claims. Tracking is the answer to that worry. The enquiries the campaigns produce get counted, so the question has data behind it instead of a guess.

Polished the wording until the ads sounded like the clinic.

The change Tinashe noticed first: the wording became more polished and targeted. The information, and how potential clients could find the clinic, seemed clearer as well. Exactly the gap an overseas company that didn't understand the business was never going to close.

Took the whole thing off Tinashe's plate.

Tinashe is upfront about sometimes being confused about how it all works, and grateful not to have to have it all figured out. That is the arrangement working as intended. The people doing it are well aware of how marketing health services works in Australia, and Tinashe doesn't have to do it.

Why the rebuild worked where the old service missed

The ads had to line up with three things the overseas company never understood.

The profession

The three tracks are Tinashe's own criteria from the story brief, in Tinashe's own framing. No ad account data is drawn here.

The numbers

Before and after, line by line.

Every figure in this table is Tinashe's own count and own words, not our ad account reporting. This story is early days by Tinashe's own description, so the honest rows sit right beside the good ones. The old service cost about $800 a month before the ads themselves. The ad spend now sits under $1,000 a month, and the process is more efficient financially than the previous service, in Tinashe's words.

What's next

Where the work goes from here.

Early days is Tinashe's own description of the books, and the plan respects it. The spend stays under $1,000 a month while the enquiry count builds into a number Tinashe can quote, the way the old count of 5 a week was quotable. The tracking is in now, so when that number firms up it will be a real one. And the arrangement stays as it is: Tinashe runs the clinic, and the marketing stays in hands that know how it works in Australia.

Before working with Peter, I honestly knew very little about marketing, Google Ads or how to run effective campaigns. He has made a world of difference to our clinic’s online visibility, which has had such a positive impact on our growth. Peter is fantastic to work with. He explains everything clearly, is always happy to answer questions and genuinely looks after your ads as though they were for his own clinic. I have felt very supported throughout the entire process and would highly recommend him to any clinic owner wanting to improve their marketing and grow their practice.

Outsource your marketing to someone who is better at it than you. You are good at running a clinic, but you're unlikely to also be a marketing whiz, so hand it over to someone who is.

Pete has been running two separate campaigns for us for two different disciplines and has managed to substantially increase leads, improve lead quality and reduce our overall ad spend all at the same time. It's been really successful for us and we're super grateful for his help.
