Maylands Healthcare Hub · 6 to 12 months inFrom 3 enquiries a week to 8 to 10

Annabel had been through two agencies that promised the world, and she found herself constantly logging into the Google Ads account to fix their campaigns herself. Then she ran it herself, and keeping up with the constant changes and updates quickly became unmanageable. We took over the Google Ads, gave her a genuinely honest timeframe instead of promising the world, and by her account we have not missed the mark since. New patient enquiries went from 3 a week to 8 to 10, Annabel's count, on $1,000 to $2,500 a month in ad spend. The books are growing, she has hired another physio, and the only check she does now is Pete's monthly report.

The starting position

Where the clinic was when we started.

Before Clinic Mastery, Maylands Healthcare Hub had been through two marketing agencies that promised the world. The classic on and off tap pitch, in Annabel's words. When it came to actually delivering results, there was always an excuse.

The part that stuck with her is who ended up doing the work. She found herself constantly logging into the Google Ads account to fix the campaigns herself, the wording, simple negative keywords, while roughly $4,000 to $5,000 went to the agencies over two months of trial periods, for nothing. She also felt pushed into an intro offer, which she now reads as a move to flatter the metrics, and it brought in patients only keen on a quick fix.

So she tried running it herself. Keeping up with the constant changes and updates quickly became unmanageable, and the real cost was mental space, the account constantly sitting in the back of her mind.

What made her get help was simple enough: the clinic was not getting consistent results with its ideal clients, and it was taking too much of her time. What nearly stopped her was the past agencies, and the feeling she was going back to square one again.

What we did

The work, in the order we did it.

Took over the Google Ads she had been fixing herself.

Two agencies had run this account while Annabel logged in behind them to fix wording and negative keywords, and her own stint after them had become unmanageable. The campaign became ours to run, end to end. Her energy and time moved to other tasks in the business, her words, with faith that the ads are running well.

Gave an honest timeframe instead of promising the world.

The agencies before had promised the world and always had an excuse. What stood out for Annabel is that Pete did the opposite: he knows the healthcare industry inside out, he gave a genuinely honest timeframe, and he hasn't missed the mark since. Those are her words, and they are why the trust held.

Aimed the campaign at the clinic's ideal clients.

The intro offer era had filled the diary with people keen on a quick fix. The brief for this campaign was the thing Annabel said was missing: consistent results with the clinic's ideal clients. By her count, a week that used to bring 3 new patient enquiries now brings 8 to 10.

Put a detailed monthly report in front of her.

The marketing used to sit constantly in the back of Annabel's mind. Now the monthly report is the only check she does, super detailed, in her words. The other confidence she names is compliance: the ads are run to stay inside AHPRA's advertising rules, which her testimonial calls out by name.

She paid two agencies, and the person in the ads account was still her.

Every figure in this table is Annabel's own count and her own words, not our ad account reporting. A typical week used to bring 3 new patient enquiries and now brings 8 to 10, on $1,000 to $2,500 a month in ad spend. The grey rows are the money story: roughly $4,000 to $5,000 went to two agencies over two months of trials before we ever met, and the spend she runs now is a range she controls.

What the handover bought

The enquiries were the start of it. The hours were the point.

The ads handed over

Faith that the Google Ads are running well, without her in the account.

Hours and headspace back

Every link in this chain is Annabel's own account of what changed, in the order she tells it. None of it is our measurement.

Working with Pete and the CM marketing team has been nothing but a dream. Not only do they give you confidence on staying AHPRA complaint but his timeline are honest and he's delivered on it every step of the way. Trusting another marketing agency has been daunting, but it's the best move we've made more growth and way less stress.

What's next

Where the work goes from here.

The point of the handover, for Annabel, is where her energy goes now: other tasks that grow the business, her words, with another physio on the team and the clinic building. The ads keep running inside her $1,000 to $2,500 a month, the monthly report stays the one check she does, and the brief stays consistent results with the clinic's ideal clients. Her advice to another clinic owner sitting where she was six months ago: handing over the brand's messaging and ads felt nerve racking, and looking back she wishes she had signed on sooner, because it freed her up to focus on the things that grow the business and reduced the mental load and constant worry.

Working with the Clinic Mastery team and the marketing team in particular has freed up my time to focus on the internal workings at my clinic. Having a professional team who all know and understand what we do and the services we offer has meant I don't have to worry about the quality of the ads. Highly recommend.

Clinic Mastery are really the most legit marketing company I've come across when it comes to working with clinics. They're very professional, they respond really quickly, they're very clear on what they wanna do, what you need to do. They don't oversell you the dream, but they show you the potential, which is really cool. But they also show you how to get there and how you can do it yourself with the right guidance. And yeah, Pina's been awesome to work with as I opened my eyes to a lot of things as well with the clinical world when it comes to marketing.

We've been using Pete to manage our Google Ads for the past three months, and the results have been outstanding. What used to be a clunky, time-consuming task that cost us a lot of money with poor conversion has now turned into one of our strongest referral sources. Our Google referrals have increased more than 3× since working with Pete.
